background.
Jon
Dunmore - born Leicester, England. Music is my love and my life, whether it be writing a song for a special event, a movie or new CD or entertaining at a live concert or a small wedding, the bottom line is entertaining the people, that's what I thrive to do. With a family of performers, his father a singer in the clubs of England & his uncle an instrumentalist, Jon began his music career at the early age of 11 as a guitar player, by the age of 15 Jon was performing regular live shows in England. At the age of 17 following training, Jon became a professional vocalist, guitarist and entertainer and has been a professional performing artist ever since. While in London Jon worked with various artists such as Mathew Fischer (Procol Harum), Supported Gary Glitter on tour and was managed by Howard Jones management, in 1984 Jon signed his first record deal and had a hit in Germany where he also toured and worked with various known European acts. From The UK To The USA
On a vacation trip to New York (with 59 strat in hand), Jon was asked to perform at a jam in a downtown New York City Manhattan club known as "Kenny’s Castaways", needless to say this British rocker won over the crowd and ended up being a regular performer at the club along with many other clubs in Manhatten, the vacation was a long one, while in New York Jon was spotted by Bob Schwade (Manager of Natalie Cole) and was signed to a management deal.
On a vacation trip to California Jon handed a tape to Pat Glasser (producer of NightRanger and their hits), Pat immediately signed Jon to an exclusive production deal and re formed NightRanger with Jon as the vocalist/writer. Jon spent many years co writing with NightRanger member Kelly Keagie (writer of Sister Christian) and Brad Gillis and then went on to record 5 songs produced by Pat Glasser, unfortunately music styles led them to depart a few years later.
Past Experience
Jon has worked with and been affiliated with members and producers of such acts as Black Crowes, LA Guns, Pat Bennatar, Mallisa Ethridge, Deep Purple, Kiss, Steve Vai, the list goes on.
Jon is also an experienced and accomplished engineer/producer and owns a 24 track recording facility, his most recent album productions include famed Actor/Artist "Richard Grieco" and "Neil Youngs" Crazy Horse member , "Sonny Mone".
Professional experience.
Writing, a prolific music and lyric writer with a song/music catalog of 300 + original published and un published works..
Production and engineering, vast knowledge fr 8 - 48 tr digital & analog, various releases. (production reel and discography available upon request).
Vocally trained, 4 octave range.
Live performance, over 10 years experience, 3- 4 nights per week from small venues to large concerts, TV and radio. (Live performance video available)
Expert at midi sequencing, sampling and editing.
Instruments, session player ability on Vocals, lead & rhythm Guitar & Keyboards.

Computer skills, advanced knowledge in most pro music, graphics and business programs on Macintosh and IBM.
Influences
Jesus has to be my first influence as he is my God.
Jon is also influenced of course by such greats as "The Beatles" & "The Rolling Stones" , but his uniqueness is in his ability to not only perform ballads to the caliber seen only in such greats as Neil Diamond" and "Elton John" , but in his ability to turn on the rock & roll energy with his aggressive vocal and guitar style, seen only in such great performers as "Stevie Ray Vaughan" and "Eric Clapton" with visual performance and energy of a "Bruce Springsteen".
Current.
Jon is performing his Christian music for the Calvary Chapel, Cammarillo on the third Sunday of each month and continues to seek other Christian outlets for his music ministership. Jon also helps other artists develop their talents via his song writing, production and vocal coaching skills.
Seeking.
With the vast experiences of being on the road, recording, songwriting and the time well spent in developing his God’s given gift, Jon feels primed and ready as a contending recording artist and is seeking representation, his major interests being in live performance, touring, recording and the possibility to assist in charitable and religious events.
